Strawberry extract is derived from Fragaria × ananassa through extraction of the fruit's natural aromatic compounds — primarily esters, furanones, and aldehydes that together create the distinctively sweet, slightly tart flavour profile that makes strawberry one of the most universally recognisable and appreciated fruit flavours in the world.

In the Forest Fruit variety of TWOZERO®, strawberry extract contributes a familiar, approachable sweetness that rounds out the more complex berry notes from raspberry and blueberry.
